Sandy Springs Society – Garden Tour
Meyer Closings, LLC is a Corporate Patron supporting the 7th annual Sandy Springs Society Garden Tour scheduled for May 3-4, 2008. In addition to being a major fundraiser for the Sandy Springs Society, the Garden Tour has become a much-anticipated annual event showcasing some of the interesting and outstanding gardens in the Sandy Springs area. The 2008 tour will include five private gardens, some of which have never been open before to the public.
The Sandy Springs Society has contributed to numerous philanthropic organizations throughout Sandy Springs including: Abernathy Arts Center, Heritage Sandy Springs, Sandy Springs Library, Friends of Sandy Springs Police and Fire Departments, Leadership Sandy Springs and many more. Meyer Closings, LLC is pleased to support such a worthwhile and environmentally friendly event as the Garden Tour has grown to become.
CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA
Meyer Closings, LLC is a proud supporter of the 15th annual Fairy Tale Tea on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at the Georgia Aquarium’s Oceans Ballroom. This enchanted affair is a tea party for over 500 children, parents and grandparents benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit pediatric health care systems. The “Fairy Tale Tea Under the Sea” themed event will feature afternoon tea, a children’s fashion show, crafts and special prizes.
Meyer Closings, LLC will be sponsoring a table of nurses and guests at the event. This is a unique opportunity for Meyer Closings, LLC to thank the Children’s nurses for their hard work, devotion, gentle hands and caring hearts.
All proceeds from the Fairy Tale Tea will contribute to funding areas including Neurosciences, the Friends Research Fund, Children’s School Health Program, the Aflac Cancer Center Endowment, Big Apple Circus Clown Care™ Unit, Patient and Family Support and portable defibrillator equipment. Meyer Closings, LLC is the proud sponsor of the 2007 Sandy Springs Festival Silent Auction. We hope that you will join us on Saturday, September 15th and Sunday, September 16th for this fabulous community celebration located on Sandy Springs Circle just south of Mt. Vernon Hwy and north of Hammond Drive.
Not only will there be an amazing Silent Auction with gift certificates and great items available for bidding, but you will also find booths of hand-made arts and crafts, an antique car show, stage with local entertainment, children’s area, food court and much more. Over 20,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Festival.
